Cost For Belly Dance Classes: $45 4 lessons $66 6 lessons $80 8 lessons $15 drop in PRIVATE LESSONS AVAILABLE! $60 per hour (per person) LEVELS OF STUDY BEGINNER You will learn basic steps such as hip bumps, isolations, around the world (hip circles), basic arm and hand movements and rib cage movements. Posture will be emphasized. You will begin to learn abdominal muscle control, shakes and shimmies. Zils (finger cymbals) will be taught as well as veil work (dancing with a 3 yard sheer veil). INTERMEDIATE You will learn more complex Zil patterns, movements and veil work. Emphasis will be placed on blending your movements and steps and learning to dance with your Zils. ADVANCED You will learn layering with shimmies, dancing with Zils to rhythms such as 9/8 and 6/8, stage presence will be emphasized, veil work in dance routine, blending of advanced movements and steps.
